Creating Wonderful Life Wedding DVDs is a central part of Wonderful Life Productions, since marriage begins a new branch of the family tree.

Because we have a lot of experience in broadcast and documentary-style projects, we are able to capture your most important wedding moments beautifully, without getting in the way of you and your guests.

Production

First, we shoot establishing shots of the location, guests' arrival, the bride's arrival, and the ceremony (the groom or the officiant wears a tiny microphone on his lapel so that the audio is clear). Then we shoot the reception — the couple's arrival, first dance, parent dances, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet throwing — all of the major events that you have chosen to include. Wonderful Life Productions also understands the importance of getting great shots of all the details you worked so hard to plan: flowers, cake, centerpieces, place cards, favors, etc.

Pricing

If you simply want the raw footage transferred to DVD (no editing), the cost is $850.

Our most popular Project is to edit the footage, incorporate music and titles, and give you three DVDs (one for the couple, one for his family, and one for her family). Each DVD can play through the whole day, or you can choose from the menu which specific event of the day you'd like to watch. We also place chapter markers so you can easily scan through the highlights. The cost is $2000.

If you would like to add family photographs of the two of you throughout your childhood set to music, there is an additional charge of $195 for between 60 and 80 photographs. Wonderful Life Productions can produce this portion of the project early upon request so it is available for a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower.

A unique addition to your wedding DVD is to add bride and groom voice over. A couple of weeks after the wedding, Wonderful Life Productions will interview the couple about their wedding day experience, then add it as the narration track to the DVD. This innovative approach to creating a wedding DVD adds another dimension to preserving your memory of the day. The cost is an additional $950.

Wonderful Life Productions includes a timeline in our contract with you. Your Wonderful Life Wedding DVD will be completed within 4 weeks of the wedding day. Many couples have to wait months before they receive a finished product. Wonderful Life Productions knows it is NOT a quality issue (ie wait longer = better DVD)... It is because so many people do weddings on the side — in addition to their regular jobs. For us, weddings are the cornerstone of our work.
